Frontline Peer is a trademark of Emion Innova Inc., and your privacy isn’t an afterthought — it’s part of the safety architecture of our entire operation. Here, we keep things simple: collect only what’s needed, use it for the purpose you intended, protect it with real safeguards, and publish nothing identifiable without your explicit consent.
Our full privacy policy, governing everything about how we operate, is detailed in brief below. You can always download the latest full version, above.
Frontline Peer sits under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and the laws of Ontario. When you contact us, submit a story, join a call, or interact with Echo or Tango, we only take in the information you choose to share. In some cases that’s just an email. In others it might be a recorded story, voice, or video — but only when you’ve deliberately opted into it.
Echo is built for anonymity. Tango is built for richer, identifiable storytelling — but only with clear consent and a media release when faces, voices, or likeness are used. If we think something risks identifying you or someone else, we change the detail or remove it entirely. If that still isn’t enough, we don’t publish. You stay in control until “editorial lock,” and even after publication we’ll review takedown requests when safety or privacy is at stake.
We may use de-identified material to improve programming, learn from patterns, or generate insight — sometimes with AI tools — but not with identifiable data unless you’ve given express permission to do so. Identifiable content is never fed into external AI systems by default.
We don’t sell data. We don’t trade it. We use reputable service providers (like cloud hosting, transcription, or analytics tools) and they may operate outside Canada, but they’re contractually required to protect your information. Any sharing is limited to what’s necessary for operations, safety, or legal compliance.
You always have rights: access your data, correct it, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion (subject to legal limits such as required record-keeping). If we can link data to you, we’ll act on your request; if it’s anonymized beyond recovery, we’ll tell you that too.
Cookies and analytics help us understand how people use the site. None of them track you across the internet. You can control them in your settings.
Our work is for adults. If we discover that minor-identifying information slipped into a submission, we delete it and sanitize the content the same way we do with any high-risk detail.
Policies evolve as the platform evolves. When we make material updates, we’ll post them clearly so you’re never surprised.
